Teagan Reeves

I was born and raised in Vermont, and grew up in Stowe, VT. I have always been interested in weather, specifically severe weather/tornadoes. I followed that passion to Northern Vermont University – Lyndon, where I received a bachelors in Atmospheric Science with a concentration in broadcast. While at school, I worked with our award-winning student-run station News7 as a meteorologist. I also had the opportunity to go storm chasing in the Western Plains during the summer of 2022 through a program at SUNY Oswego, which partnered with a professor at NVU. That same summer I interned with the Burlington, VT station Local 22/44, which turned into a freelance position for the fall of 2022 through spring 2023. Growing up in the mountains, I also love winter weather and being outdoors. I enjoy hiking during the summer, and my second passion after weather is snowboarding, which I hope to do a lot of in Northern Michigan!
